In 2012 a group of international volunteers from the US, EU, and Moldova crossed paths in the Republic of Moldova. We all believed that youth unemployment and labor migration often lead to precarious situations such as human trafficking, poverty and crime, so we set out to put an end to it. With no financial backing we rolled up our sleeves and combined our efforts. From this social experiment, Ad Astra emerged as an organization with credibility, recognition and expertise in the field of Career Guidance and Professional Development.
